Back to School!

Hello!

As the summer winds down, so begins another school year. We hope you've had an enjoyable summer. As noted, LISSO has undergone some leadership changes. We are thankful to have had such wonderful officers last year, and look forward to having another great year. We have began planning some events, but also look forward to hearing what you would like to do this year.

The SLIS's New Student Orientation is tomorrow - Friday, August 20 from 11-3. LISSO will be hosting a more informal "orientation" afterward at the Tin Roof (303 S Limestone), which is just a few blocks from campus. All current and previous students as long as faculty are encouraged to attend - meet some of the new SLIS students and help provide information they won't get at the formal orientation! We hope to see many of you there!

Meet us at Buddy's Bar & Grill for an early afternoon happy hour,

Tuesday, August 26 following SLIS Orientation from 2pm - 3pm.

LISSO Officers will be present to answer any questions/ease any worries about the upcoming semester.

Faculty & Returning SLIS Students are also welcome and encouraged to attend!
