Want to help out a SLIS student organization or get more
involved?
The UK LISSO Student Chapter will be holding a bake sale
to raise funds for programs and events. The bake sale will take place on Thursday, April
30th, 2015 from 2:30-5:00 in the lobby of the Lucille
Little Fine Arts Library. This bake sale will take place before
the UK ALA/LISSO Student Conference, so stop by, help out, and support your
peers! We will also open it again after the conference if you stop by and
want a snack!
BAKED GOODS
We need baked good donations! We would love cookies,
brownies, rice krispie treats, cupcakes, cake pops, and layer bars. No
cakes or pies, please. If you would like to donate baked goods, please drop
them off at the SLIS office mailroom (Room 322,3rd floor,
Little Library Building) on Wednesday, April 29th from 9:00-2:00
or contact LISSO to make other arrangements. If you feel like an
overachiever, we would love it if you could individually wrap your
donated baked goods, if not we can take it on! If you are interested,

VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers! SLIS students, this is a
chance to start getting involved! We will need help with set-up, running the
bake sale, and breaking it down. If you are interested in volunteering, please
