Why Library Science: I love organizing
information, helping people, researching, and learning.
What I wanted to be when I grew up: A teacher
or a veterinarian-- I really like children and cats.
Favorite Book(s): I can’t choose! Right now, I’m reading The Thing on the Doorstep and Other Weird Stories by H.P Lovecraft. I’m enjoying the book club theme this month
Favorite book(s) growing up: Harry
Potter, Madeleine L’Engle stuff, anything I could get my hands on.
Least favorite book: I’m sure I have more, I
just remember not being so into the The Red Badge of Courage. I
won’t say anything negative about romance novels, since I know they have quite
a following around these parts.
Favorite TV show(s): The X-Files (always), No
Reservations, Game of Thrones,
When I’m not at work you’ll find me: Returning
overdue library books to Lexington Public Library, roaming the neighborhood,
having a beer with Margaret, writing poems and subjecting other people to
them.
Guilty pleasure: Eating anchovy pizza and
watching Daria.
Snack you can’t resist: Crudités,
seriously, raw veggies are addicting. Currently, I’m into cucumbers.
Ask me about: Anything, I’m an open book.
Website/blog where I waste the most time: Um, excluding social media, I’ve spent a lot of time lately on the theintercept.com.
